BHS: TEATARFEST Petar Kočić je nazvana u čast Petra Kočića (1877-1916), pjesnika koji je rođen u Stričićima kod Banja Luke.Ova manifestacija je vremenom kao smotra pozorišta, prerasla u manifestaciju na kojoj se prezentuju i vrednuju najbolja pozorišna ostvarenja – predstave nastale prema savremenom dramskom tekstu regiona. Teatar fest „Petar Kočić“ je festival koji vrednuje i promoviše savremenu dramu regiona. Za program festivala se selektuju najbolje predstave nastale prema savremenim djelima pisanim za pozorište, a pošto je produkcija takvih djela varijabilna u broju i kvalitetu, mogu biti selektovane i predstave urađene prema klasičnim, odnosno već izvođenim djelima.

ENG: Teatarfest Petar Kocic is named in honor of Petar Kočić (1877-1916), the poet who was born in Stričići near Banja Luka. In the course of time this event, as a theater festival, has grown into an event which presents and evaluates the best theatrical achievements – shows created by contemporary drama text of the region. Teatar fest “Petar Kočić” is a festival that values and promotes contemporary drama of the region, and this year the emphasis is on the dramatic works of authors from Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro. Only the best plays made by contemporary works written for the theater are selected for festival program. Since production of such works is variable in number and quality, plays prepared by classical or already performed works can be also selected.
