Die Haupttätigkeit des Unternehmens besteht in der Entwicklung und Herstellung von Geräten zur Messung und Kontrolle von Gasen sowie in deren Installation auf Kundenwunsch. Neben dem Markt im ehemaligen Jugoslawien exportiert UNIS-FAGAS seine Produkte nach Nordamerika, Skandinavien, Deutschland sowie in den Nahen und Fernen Osten. UNIS – FAGAS hat seit Dezember 2001 ein Qualitätssystem nach ISO 9001:2000 eingeführt und strebt in ihrer Geschäftspolitik an, dass alle ihre Produkte von den zuständigen Institutionen der BAS-EN-Normen zertifiziert werden. Neben der Zertifizierung der Produkte durch inländische Institutionen SMP (Institut für Normung und Metrologie ITA), UNIS – FAGAS zertifiziert seine Produkte durch den Deutschen Verein für Luft, Gas und Wasser DVGW und Canadian – American Gas Association CSA. Das bedeutet, dass unsere Produkte in den Labors des Instituts für Gastechnik, Werma Gas Institute in Essen (CSA International) geprüft werden.
